<p>An apparatus for supporting and rotating thin walled vessel sections during joining of two or more sections by welding comprises a plurality of rotators or rotors. The apparatus is preferably configured for each vessel section to be contacted by ten rollers. Two lower rollers C may be driven by a motor. Upper supporting rollers may be supported in pairs by a pivoting bracket B located on a link arm L1, L2, R1, R2. The supporting rollers maintain the cross section of the vessel being welded as circular.</p> |
