The machine e.g. rotor spinning machine (1), has maintenance devices (15a, 15b) moving in a longitudinal direction alongside workstations. A control and communication system includes actual bus lines (22, 23), and the maintenance devices are in communication with the control and communication system. Each of the maintenance devices is connected to bus topology components (26a-26d) through maintenance device bus lines (19a-19d), and a part of the components is connected to the actual bus lines and arranged in a middle area of the machine in the longitudinal direction between terminal frames. |
