The pressure indicator has a housing (10) with a chamber having a display element (15), which is guided movable in the housing and has a pressure spring (11). The movable display element is pressurized on a side facing a pressure monitoring area (21) for being movable from an output position against the spring force of the pressure spring reversible into a pressure display position. The movable display element has a relief channel (25), which is closed by a pressure relief device (23) working non-reversible. The relief channel is arranged in the display element as an axial bore.
