The mowing apparatus for treating grows of the present invention is adapted for attaching to a carrier and for connecting to a driving unit. The mowing apparatus comprises a frame (22) with mowing spindles (7a, 7b) mounted thereon. The mowing spindles (7a, 7b) are provided on one side with mowing blades and on the opposite side with distribution elements for connection to transmission elements. Further mounted on the frame (22) is a transmission mechanism for driving the mowing spindles (7a, 7b). The mowing spindles (7a, 7b) are arranged in two rows parallel to each another and defined by longitudinal lines (8, 9), disposed at a certain distance (L) from each other. The mowing spindles (7a, 7b) of each row are mutually connected by means of the transmission elements. The centers of the mowing spindles (7a) of the first row on the line (8) are disposed in pitches (P) to each other. The centers of the mowing spindles (7b) of the second row on the line (9) are also disposed in pitches (P) to each other. The centers of the mowing spindles (7b) of the second row on the line (9) are set-off in the direction of lines (8, 9) by one half (P/2) of the pitch (P) relative to the centers of the mowing spindles (7a) of the first row on the line (8). The connecting line of the center of each mowing spindle (7a) of the first row on the line (8) with the center of immediately adjacent mowing spindle (7b) of the second row on the line (9) forms with the parallel lines (8, 9) an acute angle ({alpha}) for which stands the following: tg{alpha} = . The measure of the angle ({alpha}) is in the range of 15 to 60 degrees. The transmission mechanism for driving the mowing spindles (7a, 7b) comprises two transmission units mounted side-by-side on the frame (22) and connected with each other. The first transmission unit is arranged for rotating in one direction of the revolution and is coupled by means of transmission elements with the mowing spindles (7a) of the first row on the line (8). The other transmission unit is arranged as reversible for selective rotation of the gearbox (2) output shaft in both directions of the revolutions and is coupled by means of transmission elements with the mowing spindles (7b) of the second row on the line (9). |
