An improved shopping basket 1 is disclosed that is adapted for attachment to the rear of an infant transport vehicle 9 such as a baby buggy, pushchair or pram. The shopping basket comprises a substantially rigid receptacle having at least three wheels 2, 3 to support the receptacle in use, and at least one flexible attachment means, such as an expandable or elastic strap 4, for attaching the receptacle to the rear of the vehicle. The attachment means may comprise a hook 6 for attachment to a frame of the vehicle, and the elastic strap may comprise two separate straps (figure 2) or a single strap (figure 4) attached at both ends to the receptacle. A front wall (1F, figure 2) of the receptacle may have one or two recesses 7 which allow space for the rear wheel(s) of the vehicle, and a rear wall (1R) may be shaped to provide clearance between the receptacle and the feet of a user of the basket. The basket is intended to allow a user pushing the infant transport to shop more easily. |
