<p>The invention relates to a method for operating a driving device (1), in particular a motor vehicle, wherein the driving device (1) has at least one first drive motor (4), at least one second drive motor (5), and one dual clutch transmission (6) having a first and a second component transmission (7, 8), wherein the first drive motor (4) is or can be connected via a respective clutch (9, 10) to a drive side (11, 12) of the first and second component transmission (7, 8) and the second drive motor (5) is or can be connected via a coupling unit (13) to the drive side (11, 12) of the first or second component transmission (7, 8), and wherein in at least one driving state both clutches (9, 10) are opened and no driving gear is engaged at least for the component transmission (7) connected to the second drive motor (5). According to the invention, when acceleration is required during the driving state, the following steps are carried out: engaging or maintaining a driving gear for the component transmission (8) which is not connected to the second drive motor (5); and closing the first and the second clutch (9, 10).
