<p>The present invention relates to a technique of nitriding the inner surface of an object having a depth of a pipe and, more specifically to a technique of nitriding a bore with hollow cathode discharge (HCD). A hollow body or an engraved member which is subjected to nitridization is itself, used as a cathode, and a conductive jig system is designed to fix thousands of workpieces. Power is applied to the jig system, and the hollow or the engraved member itself functions as the hollow cathode, so that the inner surface of the cathode member is nitrided by the plasma generated by the hollow cathode discharge formed in the inner space.</p> |
