A portable automatic coating brush comprises a handle A, a brush assembly B, means to circulate coating material through passages 5 and 6 in the handle A with an adjustable valve 11 to regulate the quantity of the circulating material, a passage 3 adapted to supply a portion of the circulating material to the brush assembly B and a stop valve 10 in the passage 3. When the stop valve 10 is opened by pressing a push button 13 some of the coating material is supplied to the brush assembly through a bore 8, valve chest 7 and passage 3 to impregnate bristles 24 through pipes 26 or through perforations in a base plate 25. The coating material is supplied from and delivered to a tank and pump through hoses 29 and 30, respectively. The valve 11 is adjusted by turning a threaded head 16. The brush assembly B may be set at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the handle A.</p> |
