The ripening-degree-determination device (1) has a sensor unit (2), which is formed to determine information of an agricultural product (10) to suggest a degree of ripeness of the agricultural product. A processing-equipment is formed to determine the degree of ripeness of the agricultural product before the harvest based on the information of the sensor unit. A calibration device is formed to perform the calibration of the ripening-degree-determination device for different agricultural products. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a ripening-degree-determination system for determining a degree of ripeness of an agricultural product; and (2) a method for determining a degree of ripeness of an agricultural product.
