<p>Vehicle 1 for transporting and dispensing coiled pipe 520 comprises an outer frame 10 positioned such that the pipe 520 is inside the frame 10, a winch 100 and a towing line, which couples a free end of the pipe and transports it towards a dispensing portion. The pipe 520 may sit on adjustable rollers 20. The frame 10 may comprise adjustable rams 25 which contact the pipe 520 and adjust its vertical alignment. The free end of the pipe may be received in a curved chute (40 fig 5) which may guide the free end towards the dispensing portion. There may be a pipe pushing device (200 fig 7) which grips the pipe 520 and forces it into a conduit. There may be a platform (210 fig 7), moveable between stowed and in use positions, on which the pipe pushing device (200 fig 7) may travel along. There may be an access platform 50, which may have a safety rail and/or mesh, so that elevated access can be provided to an upper portion of the vehicle 1. An access door 60 may be provided in the frame 10 which may have an alarm to indicate when it is open.</p> |
