摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid analysis device that can analyze a fluid by using PIV and a simple structure. SOLUTION: The fluid analysis device includes: a laser irradiation section 11 that directs a plurality of sheet lights like small-width sheet that have polarization directions different from each other and are parallel to each other, to a fluid 14 mixed with tracer particles 15; an imaging unit 12 that photographs reflection lights having polarization directions different from each other and generates a first captured image and a second captured image having a specified time interval with the first captured image; a special polarizing filter 30 that separates the reflection lights by the polarization directions at a unit of pixel forming the imaging unit 12 and directs the reflection lights to the pixel formation surface so as to match them to the polarization directions for every pixel; and an analyzer 13 that finds the position information on the vertical direction to the sheet surface from the information concerning the polarization direction of reflection lights given to pixels forming the first and second captured images and obtains the flow rate of the fluid from the first and second captured images.
