Packaging laminate comprises paper (12) and a plastic film (14), which is metallized on one-side, where the paper is connected with a side of the plastic film exhibiting metallization (16) through a laminating agent layer (18) comprising at least one water-based silicate. An independent claim is also included for producing the packaging laminate having high oxygen- and aroma barrier properties, comprising bonding the paper with the side of the plastic film exhibiting metallization through the laminating agent layer and using a water-based silicate, which optionally comprises additives for improving the flexibility of the resulting laminating agent layer. |
