<p>The device (1) has a generator (2) supplying alternating current (AC) sources over a line connection (22). An inductor (6) is supplied with AC and comprises an induction coil. The inductor is fastened at a rail (8) or a switch (10). Current is induced by electromagnetic induction due to the induction coil of the inductor in the rail or the switch is supplied with the AC. The current heats the rail or the switch. A control- or regulation device controls or regulates electric power of the generator by varying frequency and/or pulse width of the AC fed into the inductor. The control- or regulation device is a P-controller, a PI controller or a PID controller An independent claim is also included for a railway system for a rail vehicle.</p> |
