A rotatable drilling tool has cutting edges (on a face side) that merge inwardly into a chisel edge, with the chisel edge(s) running on the face side about a central region surrounding the tool axis, with the chisel edges forming, in the innermost region (or about a point thinning region), a residual chisel edge, with cutting edge corners being formed at the outer ends of the main cutting edges, with a straight connecting line that runs through two cutting edge corners of main cutting edges situated opposite one another in relation to the tool axis, or if an opposite main cutting edge is not present, through a cutting edge corner and the tool axis, with the chisel edge inner region running from the outer end of the residual chisel edge within a region with an angle of between−15° and +15° in relation to a parallel to the connecting line.
|
