The single lever mixing tap (10) has a valve housing (12), where a mixer cartridge (36) with a hot water inlet opening is inserted in a fitting housing and mixer cartridge is controlled by an operating lever (18). A hot water line (24) is connected at hot water inlet opening. Cold water and mixed water flows from mixed water outlet opening in a water outlet (14) by turning the operating lever by rotational axis (K) starting from a rest position in the direction of an adjustment area. An independent claim is also included for a mixer cartridge for installation in a single lever mixing tap.
