PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which is improved in optical performance and optical equipment. SOLUTION: The lens barrel (1) includes: reference members (20 and 30) which are integrated with a reference surface attached to a camera body (100); a lens (L2) which can be moved with respect to the reference members; and a lens driving member (60) which drives the lens in the optical axis direction of the lens by a driving force from a driving source (51). The lens driving member includes: an input section (80) which receives the driving force, to be rotated around an axis parallel with an optical axis; a driving section (70) which is a member separate from the input section and rotated around the axis parallel with the optical axis, to drive the lens in the optical axis direction; and engaging sections (73 and 82) for integrally engaging the input section and the driving section.
