Apparatus for cooling or heating fluids, having a feed tube, which guides the fluid, and having a feed screw, which is integrated in the feed tube and in which, by way of an overflow tube between the buffer container and feed screw, the fluid is recirculated until the desired temperature is reached at the exit, even in the case of the fluid being introduced in a surge. The core tube (10) of the feed screw (1) is cooled or heated by heat-transfer medium by being forced, between the outside of the inner tube and the inside of the core tube, through a helix wound around the inner tube, in order to achieve more flow turbulence and a longer residence time for the heat-transfer medium. |
