<p>The specification describes a substance comprising a plurality of microparticles. The microparticles comprise a core comprising a first polymer and a shell surrounding said core and comprising the first polymer and a second polymer, wherein the second polymer is less rapidly degradable than the first polymer. A process for making the microparticles and uses of the microparticles are also described.</p>
