<p>The present invention discloses a thin film transistor array substrate and a display device having the same. The thin film transistor array substrate according to the present invention includes a first insulating layer that covers a semiconductor layer; a second insulating layer that covers a plurality of first gate wires formed on the first insulating layer; a third insulating layer that covers a plurality of second gate wires formed on the second insulating layer; a cover metal formed on the third insulating layer to make contact with the semiconductor layer through a contact hole formed through the first to third insulating layers; a fourth insulating layer that covers the cover metal; a protective layer on the fourth insulating layer; and an anode electrode formed on the protective layer to make contact with the cover metal through a via hole formed through the protective layer, the fourth insulating layer, and the contact hole.
