An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and an assembling method thereof are provided to simplify and help an assembling process by removing a TAB(Tape Automated Bonding) process and a PCB attaching process. An upper substrate(53) is divided into a display area and a non-display area. A lower substrate(51) corresponds to an upper substrate of the display area. An LC panel(55) is interposed between the upper and lower substrates. Driver ICs(Integrated Circuits)(57,59) are disposed in the lower substrate of the non-display area. Plural pads(61) are disposed in an input side of the driver IC. In a connection member(63), a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) and plural slots electrically connected with the PCB are disposed. The LC panel is inserted into the connection member so as to connect the plural pads with the plural slots electrically. |
