Disclosed is an image matrix device including multiple image signal input ports, a signal switching connection unit, and multiple image signal output ports. The image matrix device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a control unit, an Ethernet terminal, and an Ethernet interface. The control unit has a unique IP address. The Ethernet interface conducts interfacing of communication signals between the Ethernet terminal and the control unit. When a client device is connected through the Ethernet interface, the control unit sends data about the input ports and the output ports to the client device through the Ethernet interface. The control unit controls the operation of the signal switching connection unit according to the changed port data from the client device.
