1,018,907. Automatic speed control. LICENTIA PATENT VERWALTUNGS. Feb. 13,1963 [Feb. 17, 1962], No. 5881/63. Heading G3R. [Also in Division H2] The torque of an asynchronous motor M is reversed by interchanging the phase connections of the stator winding through the timing of the conducting periods of rectifiers G2, G3, as determined by signals supplied from trigger amplifier V3 to the control electrodes of the rectifiers. The rotor circuit comprises resistors R connected to magnetic amplifier V1 whose control windings are supplied from amplifier V2 in accordance with the magnitude of an error signal which is the difference between the voltage of tachometer generator TG and that of a reference potentiometer P. A signal representing the sign of the speed error is fed through magnetic amplifier V4 to the trigger amplifier V3 whereby the sequence and duration of the conducting states of the rectifiers G2, G3, are controlled. |
