The movement has an electromagnetic clock motor comprising a stator and a rotor (4) placed in a cage (6) made of non-magnetic material. The cage is mounted in an opening of the stator. The cage has a side opening whose maximal width is equal to maximum diameter of the rotor. The cage has parts i.e. tabs (20, 22), elastically deformable according to a direction of rotation axis. One of the tabs or the tabs have elastic deformation capacity to allow the assembly of the rotor in the cage through the side opening and to allow introduction of two pivots of the rotor into respective bearings. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a clock motor.
