APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SENSING BENDING OF A FLEXIBLE DISPLAY USING MUTUAL INDUCTANCE

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for sensing the bending of a flexible display device using mutual inductance. Further, the present invention relates to the display device and a method of manufacturing the display device. The method for sensing the bending of a flexible display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: inputting a signal to a first conductive portion mounted on one side of the flexible display device; outputting a signal from a second conductive portion which is mounted on the other side of the display device and faces the first conductive portion by the magnetic flux formed by the signal inputted to the first conductive portion; and recognizing the bending of the flexible display device by using the signal from the second conductive portion. According to embodiments of the present invention, the apparatus of the present invention can recognize the bending of a flexible display device by using the mutual induction.
