A display device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a display panel which includes a plurality of pixels of a pantile arrangement which include a first pixel and a second pixel adjacent to the first pixel, and displays color corresponding to output color data; and color data conversion part which converses input color data and generates the output color data. The color data conversion part includes a determination part which receives the input color data, allows a first pixel to display white color, and determines whether the first pixel and the adjacent second pixel display black color or not to generate a first determination signal; and a control part which controls the output color data of the first pixel or the second pixel based on the first determination signal.
