The present invention relates to a system and a method for testing an emotional quotient using a wire/wireless communication network, in which an emotional quotient test server provides an emotional quotient test service for a terminal of a tested person connected through the wire/wireless communication network. A system for testing an emotional quotient according to the present invention includes: a terminal of a tested person which can be connected to the wire/wired communication network, and transmits data inputted from the tested person through an emotional quotient test service through the wire/wired communication network; an emotional quotient test server which transmits inquiry information for an emotional quotient test to the terminal of the tested person through the wire/wired communication network, and performs the emotional quotient test by analyzing answer information for the emotional quotient test transmitted from the terminal of the tested person, and transmits the result information of the test to the terminal of the tested person through the wire/wired communication network; and a database for storing and updating user information of the tested person, the inquiry information and the answer information for the emotional quotient test and the result information of the test.
