The present invention relates to a glass fiber cord for structural reinforcement. Glass fiber strips are prevented from being dispersed by holding and fixing, with a woven reinforcing skin, a plurality of glass fiber strips installed to reinforce a structure in a mold. The structure can be reinforced via the pretension effects of the glass fibers installed in a fiber-reinforced plastic structure by making the reinforcing skin hold and fix the glass fibers having pretension applied therein. The impregnation rate of molding resin between the glass fiber strips is increased in the process of molding the fiber-reinforced plastic structure by filling the mold with the molding resin because the reinforcing fiber strips constituting the reinforcing skin are woven while keeping gaps having a predetermined size. The structure-reinforcing effects of the structure can be increased by reducing the generation rate of bubbles in the mold. The impregnation rate of the resin between the glass fiber strips is increased by inserting a porous tube in the middle of the glass fiber strips constituting a glass fiber core to make the molding resin flow through the porous tube in the process of molding the structure. |
