The strap has a strand including an end integral with a case of a wrist-watch, and another end to be connected to one end of another strand to close the strap. One end of each strand includes an elongated housing (10) to cooperate with a fixing bar for fixing the strap to the case. The housing includes an opening forming a passage to allow insertion of the corresponding bar. The housing is associated with a latch (8) movably mounted on the corresponding strand between an open position in which the passage is free and a closed position in which the latch blocks the passage. An independent claim is also included for a wrist-watch.
