The present invention relates to a heat treatment apparatus which realizes energy conservation and has various aspects of supplying power. The heat treatment apparatus includes a heat treating furnace (2), a thermoelectric convention member (3), a control device (4), and a switching part (5). The heat treating furnace (2) is installed to perform a thermal process on an object (100). The thermoelectric convention member (3) changes the thermal energy from the heat treating furnace (2) into electric power. The control device (4) is installed to control the heat treating furnace (2). The switching part (5) selectively supplies the electric power from an external power (20) or the electric power from thermoelectric convention member (3) to the control device (4).
