The present invention relates to a method for screening an anticancer agent using RORα, the method comprising the steps of: culturing cells; bringing a potential substance into contact with the cells; determining whether the phosphorylation level of RORαin the cells increases as compared to that in control cells (not brought into contact with the potential substance); and selecting the potential substance as an anticancer agent if the phosphorylation level of RORαin the cells increases.
