<p>PURPOSE: A composition for ischemic brain disease treatment is provided to reduce the size of cerebral edema and cerebral infarction domain, to reduce the level of lipid peroxidation and encephalopathy, and to show a brain protecting activation, thereby realizing a possibility of being developed as a therapeutic agent for ischemic brain disease. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or curing ischemic brain disease comprises Rosa hybrid extract as an active ingredient. The rosa hybrid extract is a solvent extract extracted by using more than one solvent selected from a group comprising water, 1-4 carbon numbers of hydrated or non-hydrated lower alcohol, acetone, ethyl acetate, butylacetate, chloroform, hexane, diethylether, and 1,3- butylene glycol. The ischemic brain disease is stroke, cerebral infarction, cerebral ischemia, hypoxia brain damage, or traumatic brain injury. A food composition for improving ischemic brain disease comprises the rosa hybrid extract as an active ingredient.</p> |
