The present invention relates to a system for testing a program based on message logging and a method thereof. The system according to the present invention comprises a recording module which records a message generated in case of operating a target program and a test program unit which comprises a transmission module which transmits the message to a server. The transmission module transmits the message which corresponds to a predetermined condition to the server based on a problem generation time while operating the target program. The transmission module transmit at least one of the capture screen of the problem generation time, a computer specification for the test program unit, and a situation report inputted from a test operator to the server with the message. The transmission module transmits the message to the server from a predetermined message to the message of the problem generation time.
