The present invention relates to a balance shaft module which supplies oil to an engine by receiving the torque of a crank shaft. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a balance shaft module for an engine wherein a balance shaft and an oil pump are integrated, which applies a vane pump as an oil pump and, in particular, includes a resonator at a suction port of the vane pump so that a fixed amount of oil can be always charged in the resonator. Therefore, the balance shaft module for an engine can reduce noise and vibration and improve fuel efficiency by stably supplying oil even when a large quantity of oil is needed in a moment due to the operation of the oil pump (vane pump) at a high speed. To achieve the above purpose, the balance shaft module for an engine wherein a balance shaft and an oil pump are integrated can operate at a double speed compared with the engine RPM and operate an oil pump. The oil pump is a vane pump. In addition, a suction port is formed in a housing in order to induce oil to be sucked into the oil pump, and a resonator is additionally formed in the suction port in order to secure a sufficient amount of oil even during high speed rotation. |
