The present invention relates to a steel beam joint for coupling adjacent beams to each other while minimizing the usage of a joint plate in a steel frame structure. The steel beam joint of the present invention comprises: a first member consisting a web and flanges coupled to the top and bottom of the web; and a second member coupled to the end of the first member and consisting of a web and flanges coupled to the top and bottom of the web, wherein the upper flange of the end of the first member, which is coupled to the second member, is positioned on the same line as the end of the web, the lower flange of the first member is formed to protrude toward the second member, and the second member is coupled so that the lower flange thereof is placed on the protruding lower flange of the first member. According to the present invention, since the upper and lower surfaces of the flanges of the adjacent steel beams are directly coupled after the flange of one steel beam is positioned on the flange of the other steel beam, an additional joint plate is not needed, thus enabling the improvement of economical efficiency, the reduction of construction period, and the mass production of high quality joints by reducing the amount of steel and bolts and omitting an on-site assembly process. |
