A method for detecting an obstacle in a financial apparatus includes the steps of detecting the reduction value of a distance between a medium and a sensor according to the collection of the medium by using the sensor; and analyzing the detected reduction value. If the detected reduction value is out of a preset range, the entry of the medium to a medium collecting device is stopped. |
