The present invention relates to a refrigerator having a deodorizing function, which includes: a body having a storage room and a door opening and closing the storage room; a vaporization device disposed on the door so as to vaporize OH radical water and to produce the vaporized OH radical water; and a guide channel having a duct extended from the door to the storage room so as to guide the vaporized OH radical water to the storage room, an opening/closing sensor adapted to sense the opening and closing of the door, a solenoid valve adapted to open and close the duct, and a first controller adapted to control the solenoid valve to allow the duct to be closed according to the sensed result of the opening/closing sensor if the door is opened.
