摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a sequence fragment alignment method and, more specifically, to a method for aligning genomic sequence fragments by using a many-core process. A sequence fragment alignment system by the present invention, which aligns a set of sequence fragments of a genome being decoded with respect to a reference sequence, comprises: a main memory which stores the reference sequence and a set of the sequence fragments; a main processor which divides the reference sequence to generate first and second reference sequence fragments; and a many-core module (120) which aligns a set of the sequence fragments in parallel with respect to each of the first and second reference sequence fragments. The sequence fragment alignment system and sequence fragment alignment method by the present invention divides a reference sequence and aligns sequence fragments of a genome at a high speed in a many-core environment.
