Disclosed are a method for executing specific feature based on handwriting and a device thereof. The handwriting-based feature execution method of the present invention includes: a handwriting interface unit which receives the handwriting data from a user; and a control unit which analyzes the handwriting data received from the handwriting interface unit to determine the attribute information of the handwriting data, and searches for candidates of applications which can be synchronized to the handwriting data using the attribute information to and provide the searched candidates to the handwriting interface unit.
