The present invention relates to a foreign material inflow preventing device and a stern tube sealing device including the same and, more specifically, to a foreign material inflow preventing device and a stern tube sealing device including the same which prevent the inflow of a net by forming an air vortex with specially designed sealing portions which are installed on a sealing housing unit of a vessel. The present invention includes an air supply unit which is installed to supply air to a ring-shaped seal chamber formed by a first sealing portion on the outmost part of the stern among a plurality of the sealing portions which slide-touches a liner on the stern and is axially arranged and a second sealing portion next to the first sealing portion; a spiral groove formed on the inner circumference of the first sealing portion touching the liner in the circumferential direction; and one or more inlets which are penetrated through one surface of the first sealing portion touching the seal chamber to be connected to the spiral groove to make the air supplied to the seal chamber flow into the spiral groove. According to the present invention, a seawater vortex is formed around the liner of the stern, and the foreign material preventing device discharges seawater to the outside of a rope guard and prevents the inflow of the net cut by a net cutter so that the sealing portions installed on the stern are protected and a large leakage of lubricating oil inside a stern tube bush can be prevented. |
