<p>The method involves introducing machining sludge into a machining machine (M) with a receiving vessel (1), and supplying compaction doses of machining sludge into a chamber (12) to form briquettes, where each dose of machining sludge is under the effect of pressure compressed against a compression plate (17) and discharge fluids. Each briquette obtained from the machine is discharged, and fluids from the compression and ejection of the briquette are simultaneously collected in a collection container to be evacuated (16).
