In a dry shaver comprising a removable shaving head 2 which is held resiliently on the edge of a hair chamber 4, part of the wall 5 of which is formed by two spring-loaded hinged flaps 6 each having a lip 24 which, in the closed position of the flaps, engages behind the edge 23 of the head 2, a pin 17 is slidably mounted in the wall of the chamber 4, one end 18 of the pin engaging the edge of the head 2 and the other end having a bent-over portion 19 which bears against an inclined surface 20 on a plunger 21 so that when the plunger is moved inwardly by a push-button 22, the pin is pushed upwards to lift the head 2 at one end to release the lips 24 and allow the flaps 6 to spring open under the action of their hinge pins 7. The head 2 is provided with two pins 13 each formed with a lateral notch 14 which are engaged by the free ends of two springs 15 secured to the bottom plate of the chamber 4.</p> |
