<p>The device has accumulator cells e.g. ultra capacitors, and electronic balancing circuits parallely connected on the cells for limiting electric voltage applied to the cells. Monitoring units having LEDs detect whether the balancing circuits limit the voltage, and warn a supervision circuit about the limitation of the voltage. The supervision circuit emits a signal to a control circuit of a unit e.g. battery, when the balancing circuits limit the voltage. The balancing circuits are formed of Zener diodes. An independent claim is also included for a method for storing electrical energy.</p> |
