PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing bergenin or a bergenin derivative as an active ingredient is provided to treat narcotic and psychotropic intoxication and to be used as a therapeutic agent to treat narcotic intoxication with fewer side effects. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating narcotic and psychotropic intoxication contains a compound of chemical formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The pharmaceutical composition additionally contains a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. A method for preparing a compound of chemical formula 2 comprises the step of reacting a compound of chemical formula 3 and a compound of chemical formula 4 using dichloromethane, pyridine, or a mixture thereof as a solvent at 0-30°C. |
