An electrical wiring accessory such as a lighting switch or electrical appliance plug socket to be located preferably within a recessed wall box and comprising a connection unit (10) adapted to receive cabling, and a decorative front plate (19) to be removably attached to a mounting plate (13) of the connection unit by adjustable permanent magnets. Thus there is avoided the need for attachment lugs to be welded to the rear face of the front plate. The cost and time required for manufacture of the accessory is considerably reduced accordingly. |
