<p>The present invention is directed to a solid dose form having a film coating composition encapsulating a core, wherein: (i) the core includes an active ingredient that is at least one of a pharmaceutical, veterinary, or nutraceutical active ingredient; (ii) the film coating composition including ethylcellulose and tara bean gum; (iii) the dose form provides controlled release of the active ingredient; and (iv) the dose form is ethanol resistant.</p>
