Disclosed is a video data compressing technology preventing the degradation of display quality. A compressor of the present invention comprises: a memory for memorizing increased pixel value increased after a pixel value is compressed; a direct compressing unit for compressing a pixel value corresponding to a pixel targeted to be compressed; a first differential motion compressing unit for compressing a differential value between the pixel value corresponding to the pixel targeted to be compressed and the increased pixel value corresponding to a reference pixel determined after being compared to the pixel targeted to be compressed; an error assessment unit for outputting one of the compressing values which can be obtained by the compression of the first differential motion compressing unit or direct compressing unit based on a comparison result obtained after comparing errors of differential value between before and after compression in the first differential motion compressing unit to errors of pixel values of before and after compression in the direct compressing unit with an identifier identifying a compressing method; and an increasing unit for increasing the compression value outputted and memorizing the compression value as an increase pixel value corresponding to the pixel targeted to be compressed in the memory.
