An electric vehicle (1) includes a switching device (190) capable of switching between a permitted state in which operation of an electric motor (12) is permitted, and a prohibited state in which operation of the electric motor (12) is prohibited. An assembly management system (200) for the electric vehicle (1) is provided with: an information acquisition unit (202) which acquires settings information (222, 232) set for a vehicle body (2) and batteries (3, 61) when said batteries (3, 61) are fitted to the vehicle body (2), and transmits the settings information to a determination unit (203) for determining, on the basis of the settings information, whether or not to allow operation of the electric motor (12); and an output unit (204) which receives a determination result from the determination unit (203), and outputs, to the switching unit (190), an electrical signal indicating that either the permitted state or the prohibited state is to be set. |
