The invention relates to a transfer device (10) for tapping or delivering a fluid from a bottle (24) sealed with a closure (26, 28), said device comprising a hollow cylinder-shaped first part (12) having a circumferential wall (16), which first part (12) can be placed on the bottle and surrounds the closure (26, 28), a hollow cylinder-shaped second part (14) which can be adjusted with respect to the first part (12), said second part having a first wall (46) running transverse to the longitudinal axis direction, and a puncturing needle (48) originating from the first wall (46) and extending in the direction of the first part permitting piercing of the closure (26, 28), wherein the first part (12) cannot be adjusted axially with respect to the second part if the closure (26, 28) is not surrounded and, if the first part (12) surrounds the closure (26 28), the first part (12) can be adjusted with respect to the second part (14) for piercing the closure (26, 28). To prevent any injury from the puncturing needle (48), according to the invention the first part (12) has a second wall (30) running transverse to the longitudinal axis (80) of the first part (12) and the distal end (74) of the puncturing needle (48) runs between the first and the second wall (30, 46) if the first and the second parts (12, 14) cannot be axially adjusted or largely cannot be axially adjusted with respect to one another. |
