A berth includes a face pile wall, back earth backfill behind the wall and anchor bars with anchor supports placed out of the prism of backfill earth shear. To increase bearing ability of the construction, the anchor supports are arranged as comb-like, as anchor slabs fixed along the rigid core. The distance between the neighboring anchor slabs is such that the slab more close to the face wall does not intersect the boundaries of the prism of the earth upthrust in front of the more far from the face wall slab. |
