A method for manufacturing a tire containing surface modified silica and the tire manufactured thereby are disclosed. The method for manufacturing the tire containing surface modified silica and the tire manufactured thereby according to the present invention comprises: a S1 step for obtaining carbon black of which the density of surface hydroxyl functional group is adjusted by acidification of the carbon black; a S2 step for manufacturing the surface modified nanosilica by adding the nanosilica, which of the average density of hydroxyl functional group is 7-9 OH group/nm2 and the average size of particle is 150-250 nm, into the solvent and diffusing, and loading a surfactant; a S3 step for filtering and drying the surface modified nanosilica; and a S4 step for manufacturing the tire by mixing the surface modified nanosilica with tire raw rubber and additives, and results in the modification of the surface of the silica, thereby removing the disadvantages in use or manufacturing process and improving the abrasion resistance, frictional force, and low rolling resistance (LRR) property of the tire.
